Snap-on Inc. (NYSE: SNA) posted impressive sales,  profits and shareholder returns in 2015.  But let’s take a moment to recognize those who sacrificed their savings, credit scores, and (in some cases) their sanity so that CEO Nick “Pinchy” Pinchuk could take home over $10M and Thomas “Tommy Gun” could rake in more than $3M in compensation.

Now that the internal Crap-on Dealers Program has been made public, Crap-on.Com would like to recognize the Snap-on franchisees who left the system in 2015.

Attached as Appendix F is a list of the names, city and state, and last known home telephone number of franchisees who had an outlet terminated, canceled, not renewed, or otherwise voluntarily or involuntarily ceased to do business under the Franchise Agreement during the fiscal year ended January 2, 2016, or who has not communicated with Snap-on within 10 weeks of the date of this disclosure document.

It includes 254 former franchisees or Independents who are no longer in the system. If you buy this franchise, your contact information may be disclosed to other buyers when you leave the franchise system.

In some instances, current and former franchisees sign agreements with provisions restricting their ability to speak openly about their experience with Snap-on. You may wish to speak with current and former franchisees, but be aware that not all such franchisees will be able to communicate with you.
